1. Crown Crafts logs a profit in 3Q
Gonzales, La. – Crown Crafts today reported third-quarter net income of $1.1 million, or 12 cents per share, reversing a loss in last year’s 3Q of $8.2 million. more

Atlanta – Homefires Studios is going to Scarborough Fair with the launch of a new indoor/outdoor rug collection by the same name. more

7. Industry vet Angotti launches Sople Group marketing firm
Tarzana, Calif. – Longtime area rug industry player Alyson Angotti has opened Sople Group, a new marketing and design firm catering to home furnishings and floor coverings businesses. more

White Plains, N.Y. – The New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) reported a double-digit increase in attendance at its show earlier this month. more
