Menomonee Falls, Wis. -- Kohl's today promoted president Kevin Mansell to president and ceo, succeeding Larry Montgomery in the ceo role; Montgomery will continue as chairman.  more  
 
3. Pioneer Linens launches enhanced consumer site
West Palm Beach, Fla. – Luxury home textiles retailer Pioneer Linens has launched a new website with both e-commerce and brand-building goals.  more  
4. Peking Handicrafts brings bird images home
San Francisco -- Recognizing what it calls a “growing demand for bird-themed home décor and accessories,” supplier Peking Handicraft has introduced a collection of needlepoint dec pillows featuring a variety of bird designs in Songbirds, Finches and Parrots, created by artists Chad Barrett and D.L. 5. Textillery Weavers expands bamboo line
Bloomington, Ind. – At the upcoming High Point Market (October 20-26), decorative throw manufacturer Textillery Weavers will expand its bamboo yarn line.  more
