Abilene, Kan. – Jane Gilmartin has joined Duckwall-Alco as executive vp and chief operating officer. In her new role, Gilmartin will be responsible for merchandising, marketing, supply chain management, and store layout and visual presentation.  more

Gardena, Calif. – With the motto “Beauty today & a more beautiful tomorrow,” Softline Home Fashions has launched Evidence of Evolution, a developing line of eco-friendly fabrics and finished goods.  more

Held in conjunction with New York International Gift Fair, the New York Home Textiles Market Week takes place Aug. 14 – Aug. 21 at the Javits Center and Piers, 230 Fifth Ave., and 7W. 34th St.  more
