1. Pakistani mills seek goods worth $4.9 million from Dan River  
Wilmington, Del. – A group of nine Pakistani mills are seeking to reclaim about $4.9 million in goods they shipped to Dan River, which declared bankruptcy last month.  more  
2. Retailers find solace in April, but home lags   
New York – There were more winners than losers among retail chains in April, with respectable comp-store gains helping take some of the sting out of a very tough quarter; the outlook for May was subdued.  more  
 
3. Riegel Textiles to bring Perego linens to United States
Johnston, S.C. – Mount Vernon Mills division Riegel Textiles has partnered with Italian fine table linens maker Perego to bring the Perego Luxury Linens for Riegel line to the hospitality market in the United States.  more

New York – Fashion bedding supplier Zheng Zhang USA has named Pat Bannon director of design.  more
