1. Donna debuts in Bed Bath & Beyond
New York – Donna Karan Home has expanded its distribution to Bed Bath & Beyond with a DKNY assortment that currently includes a solid color quilted coverlet set, a towel and rug duo, and three duvet styles with coordinating sheet sets.  more  
2. Family Dollar lowers expectations
Matthews, N.C. – Family Dollar posted lower profits for the second quarter and lowered its guidance for the year, although executives said they expect the second half of the fiscal year to be slightly better.  more  
 
3. Commerce Dept. streamlines export service fees
Washington – The U.S. Commercial Service (CS) division of the Commerce Department will implement a new user fee schedule on May 1 in order to ease the ability of U.S. companies – particularly small and medium-sized firms – to leverage the Commercial Service’s global network of trade experts to increase sales in markets around the world.  more  
4. Exciting Windows promotes Cragg
Bethesda, Md. – Window fashions consumer design consulting and sales service Exciting Windows has promoted Kathy Cragg to vp of member services, where she will direct liaison with the dealer network.  more
