Clifton, N.J. – Struggling specialty chain Linens ’n Things is using the carrot as much as the stick in its efforts to galvanize management – including raises this month for three senior executives.  more

Omaha, Neb. – Regional discounter Pamida has promoted Paul Rothamel to president and ceo; he has served as interim ceo since last November.  more  
 
3. Briggs exiting Dan River
New York – On March 28, Herb Briggs will serve his last day at Dan River, which he joined six months ago as president, retail sales and marketing.  more  
4. Valdese promotes five
Valdese, N.C. – Valdese Weavers has promoted five executives to new management positions as a result of the company’s dramatic growth over the past few years.  more  
5. Feizy debuts Bling Dynasty rugs    
Dallas -- Feizy Import & Export looked to the Far East for the design direction of its newest area rug offerings set to debut at the High Point Market, which kicks off April 7.  more
