1.  Kohl’s launching children’s line in home, apparel   
Menomonee Falls, Wis. – Kohl’s will debut Jumping Beans, a new label in home and apparel, this May.  more  
2. Duckwall-ALCO ceo resigns, board under pressure  
Abilene, Kan. – Rural general merchandiser Duckwall-ALCO Stores today announced the immediate resignation of president and ceo Bruce Dale, who had joined the company in 2005 to help steer a three-year turnaround.  more  
 
3. Sears names Dell’s Rollins to board    
Hoffman Estates, Ill. -- Sears Holdings increased its board of directors to eight members with the election of Kevin Rollins, 55, former president and ceo of computer maker Dell.  more  
4. TiA Call for Submissions
Home Textiles Today invites suppliers that exhibited during New York Home Fashions Market and/or the recent New York Home Textiles Market Week/NY International Gift Fair to submit images of their “Best of Show” new products for the TiA -- the Textiles Industry Award -- which spotlights the most trend-right textiles coming out of Winter Market.  more
