Plano, Texas – American Living, the major softlines lifestyle launch taking place at JCPenney this month, will be 100% synergistic in home between the company’s store, catalog and online channels, Jeff Allison, evp for home told HTT.  more

At the New York Market – Springs Global is taking its luxury Court of Versailles collection into prints, with the declaration “Prints are back!”  more  
 
3. Barbara Barry Blooms anew   
At the New York Market – Three new beds join the Barbara Barry bedding collection at DWI Holdings. The collection also introduces a Lyrical Loop, a new quilt in white that works across the various styles.  more  
4. Loewy lends Tommy a look    
At the New York Market – A new dimension inspired by the famed industrial designer Raymond Loewy adds to the classic Tommy Hilfiger bedding collection for fall. Loewy combines a paisley with tattersall menswear looks on sateen in charcoal and cream.  more  
5. Jane Seymour Home extends with GTT, Thro   
At the New York Market – The Jane Seymour Home Collection is introducing six beds via its new partnership with GTT International, as well as a decorative pillow and throw blanket collection with Thro for fall.  more

Portland, Ore. – Less is more goes the saying, and it’s true when referencing Newport/Layton Home Fashions’ new headquarters and warehouse facility.  more  
9. Upscale textiles supplier buys furniture retailer  
Whitefield, N.H. -- The owners of Mystic Valley Traders, Adam and Kyle Tager, have acquired Whitefield, N.H.-based Brown Street Furniture through a purchase of the majority ownership of Elwin Wright, one of Brown Street’s original owners.  more
