January 19, 2012

As far as home textiles are concerned, there is no hotter ticket here than the showrooms of high-end specialists who open their doors to professionals and the public alike only in January of each year.
Outside the halls of Maison & Objet, it's a world all its own and an event not to be missed if your business is the world of interiors and you enjoy the best of couture fabrics, trimmings furniture and lighting created by well-known designers from the fields of both fashion and home decoration.
Approximately 70 prestigious houses will exhibit their new collections on their own premises located all over town, Rive Gauche to Rive Droite. This sideshow has a large following and is welcomed with warm hospitality by the best in the business to view their newest creations, from the classics to more futuristic offerings.
Among the exhibitors,: Boussac, Brunschwig & Fils, Christian Fischbacher, Donghia, Farrow & Ball, Fortuny, JAB, Kravet, Manuel Canovas, NMobilis, Osborne & Little, Sahco, Tassinasri and Zoffany - each and everyone a marquee name in textiles..
Called Paris Deco...Off, the event is open today through Monday, Jan. 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Shuttle buses bearing the show's colors and image will take visitors free of charge from locations on the Left to the Right Bank.
Brochures and maps are available in any showroom. The Rive Droite "Soiree Nocturne" will celebrate the event with a party on Saturday, Jan. 21, and Rive Gauche will conclude the festivities on Jan. 23.

Be sure you leave room in your Maison & Objet schedule.
