Wilmington, Del. – Dan River has petitioned the U.S. District Bankruptcy Court here to allow it to rapidly sell off furniture, office equipment and “small amounts” of inventory before expenses such as rent and labor “further erode the liquidation value of these assets.”
The company said that if the offer received for any sale exceeds $50,000 – whether for individual pieces or a collective group of assets – the company will seek a separate approval from the court.
Dan River also asked permission to dispose any such assets that prove to have no value.
