Supima pop-up store open for business

-- Home Textiles Today, 3/14/2008 10:48:00 AM

New York – The Supima Association of America’s first-ever pop-up store opened earlier today in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.

Located at 72 Greene Street one block south of Spring Street, the store operate for a month, selling Supima apparel as well as blankets from Faribault Mills; Wamsutta hotel sheets from Springs Global and slipcovers from Chopak Mills.

The store itself is spare and minimalist. Almost all items – including sheets and blankets – are displayed on two rows of hangers down the center of the space. Almost all merchandise offered is white.

For a look at the story and last night’s kick-off party, see the PHOTOS section on our front page.
