Famous Home bolsters sales team; moves showroom

MONTREAL — Famous Home Fashions has added a new sales representative to its team and moved its New York showroom.
Bruce Evans joins Famous, based here, as its West Coast sales representative covering home textiles retailers. In the newly created position, Evans will be based in Mission Viejo, CA and will report to Barry Samberg, president, and Al Bilkis, vp, sales and marketing.
The 15-year-old Famous, which makes shower curtains and bath accessories, has also moved its showroom. Formerly at 261 Fifth Ave., Suite 1400, Famous' new space is now located at 230 Fifth Ave., Suite 1312, (212) 689-5180. The company cited the need for more space to showcase its expanded lines as the reason for the move.
