LNT adds senior vp, cio

CLIFTON, NJ — Linens 'N Things Inc. has added Jeffrey Steinhorn to the company as senior vp and cio. Steinhorn will report to Norman Axelrod, chairman and ceo, and will serve as a member of the executive committee of the company. He is replacing Matt Meaney, who will be retiring.
Steinhorn joins Linens 'N Things from Accenture, formerly Andersen Consulting, a provider of management and technology consulting services. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 1985 with a B.S. in MIS/Business Administration, Jeff joined Andersen Consulting as an analyst. He was promoted to associate partner in 1995.
