Springs bolsters creative team

Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 5/7/2001

FORT MILL, SC — Springs Industries announced the hiring and promotion of several executives to its creative development staff to complete its alignment into account and product specific teams.

Jack Tenenzaph returns to Springs, based here, as design team leader for licensed products. Tenenzaph, who will work out of Springs' New York office, most recently worked for Crown Crafts and Calvin Klein Home. In his previous experience with Springs, Tenenzaph was employed as a design director for the former Performance business and for national accounts bedding.

Also joining Springs are Julia Bracy and Ron Reynolds as bedding stylist and bath stylist, respectively. Bracy, who will work with an account design team, has been a creative development freelance contractor for several years. She will work out of Springs' Close Development Center, also here.

Reynolds previously was a creative supervisor for a gift and stationary products company, a design director of bath coordinates for Saturday Knight Ltd., and a kitchen and bath textile designer for Leshner Corporation. He, too, will be based here.

Helen Curtin was promoted to the position of design team leader and will be responsible for all aspects of design for one of the company's retail customers. Curtin joined Springs in 1999 as director of design for the soft window treatments division. She will work out of Springs New York office as well.
