Louisville/Saydah names Jacobs as creative dir.

NEW YORK -Looking to expand its fledgling decorative pillow division, Louisville/ Saydah has recently appointed Sally Ann Jacobs as the division's creative director.
The position was newly created for the division. Jacobs will report directly to Vivian Acerbo, vp, marketing.
"I think she's the greatest," Acerbo said. "She is very well known in the industry, so when I saw her resume, I flipped. She's the perfect addition to our team. She will really help us grow our decorative pillow division."
Jacobs brings 16 years of experience in the home textiles industry to Louisville/ Saydah. Prior to her new stint, Jacobs operated her own private company to source and develop home textile lines for wholesalers.
Jacobs will be based in Louisville/Saydah's New York offices and showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue. The company is based in Eminence, KY.
Louisville/Saydah launched its decorative pillow division two years ago as "a natural extension" to the company's table linens business, Acerbo explained.
"I am really excited to be a part of the Louisville/Saydah team," Jacobs said. "They already have tremendous capabilities in manufacturing, marketing and production in this area. With a newly dedicated focus to both the product development, creative sourcing and marketing, I'm sure we will be able to expand and develop this division to its fullest."
Jacobs added that she intends to "give shape to the decorative pillow line with fashion styling, innovative materials, fresh colors and the right pricing."
