HD website honored for marketing

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ -The Hunter Douglas Window Fashions website has won an award for excellence in product and service marketing.
The award, from the 11th Annual International Galaxy 2000 Awards Competition, is sponsored by MerComm, an independent organization that defines standards in marketing communications. Over 470 entries from 13 countries were part of the competition.
The Hunter Douglas web site, www.hunterdouglas. com, was the Grand Award winner in the website category and one of 11 Grand Award recipients in the overall competition. The window coverings company, based here, also received a Gold for the web site's Corporate Identity/Image category and a Gold in the Public Relations category for its "Designing with Light" seminar held at New York's American Craft Museum in spring 2000.
