Troy, N.C. – Fourth-generation, family-owned Capel Rugs is gearing up for the coming January markets with what the company described as “an unprecedented” number of new collections positioned to appeal to a broad range of customers.
“Although sales remain somewhat sluggish throughout the rug industry, we expect rising interest the first quarter of 2010, and Capel Rugs will be ready with great diversity of products,” said Allen Robertson, vp, sales. “We've seen increased demand for collections that appeal to a style-savvy consumer, and we're excited to be offering such a wide variety of new designs.”
For the Atlanta International Area Rug Market and the Las Vegas Markets in the New Year, Capel has created several new soft contemporary and transitional styles in fresh palettes. Collections include the reversible Essex collection, the modern-patterned Graphique collection, the updated braided Tweed Square grouping and the hand-crafted Josette and Persian Trace collections.
New licensed collections for the markets include the bordered Capel Anywhere Pacific View collection from Jane Seymour, the architecturally inspired Orchard House from Biltmore For Your Home, and the indoor-outdoor collections from Williamsburg, including the brightly hued Abby's Garden and the Asian-inspired Finesse-Kimono Flower.
On that same vein, the Bob Timberlake Burl design is a new addition to the Karma Naturals collection that features a stylized interpretation of burled wood.
Capel Rugs’ showroom in Atlanta is at the AmericasMart in suite 6-F-2 and in Las Vegas at the World Market Center in space A-226.
