Outlast adds to North American, Asian sales teams

-- Home Textiles Today, 11/11/2009 9:16:00 AM

Boulder, Colo. – Outlast Technologies, which develops phase-change, temperature regulating technology for the apparel and home industries, has appointed new sales leaders in North America and Asia.

Karen Fischer has rejoined the company in North America as sales manager, and Greg Russell has been promoted to business development associate. In Asia, Sachiko Sasayama takes over as the new Asian sales operations manager, and Shizuko Okado joins the company in Asian sales operations.

Fischer previously worked for Outlast Technologies from 1998 to 2002. Most recently she was a senior account manager at Shore to Shore, Inc. in San Francisco, overseeing the company’s western territory.

Russell recently completed a year-long internship at Outlast and will serve as the primary point-of-contact for client accounts while heading day-to-day management for Outlast customers.

Sasayama will coordinate all Asian sales, customer relations, product inquiries, orders and shipments. Prior to working at Outlast, Sasayama worked as a client account representative in international sales in both Japan and the U.S.

Okada will be responsible for order issues, product certifications and shipments throughout Asia. She previously worked for a graphic design company with offices in the U.S. and Japan.

“I’m proud of the global team we are building,” says Heather Listoe Manuel, Outlast North America sales and marketing director. “Heading into 2010, we’re looking forward to building on our current momentum—and with these new additions, I’m excited to see what 2010 will bring.”
