Ruia Home Adds Better Rugs

New York — Natural fiber goods in bamboo and organic cotton take the Ruia Home bath programs up a notch in quality and price bracket. Customers, especially West Coast and Canadian accounts, are demanding these, the company said.
The organic cotton rugs are priced 25% above average cotton varieties; the bamboo are set to sell for up to 30% higher. And Ruia has a new bamboo/cotton blend style – with 20% bamboo rather than 50% – at a price point just 12% higher.
Ruia has debuted a thicker, textured version of a chindi rug. Offering more comfort underfoot, these pieces are set to retail for $7.99 to $9.99 vs. regular chindis at $4.99 to $6.99.
