San Francisco — BabyGap has unveiled the "BabyGap home" collection, its first foray into home goods. Available online and at a few test stores, BabyGap home is described as the apparel retailer's "premium line" of bedding, strollers, car seats, toys and other items.
Four-piece bedding sets include a quilt, crib sheet, bed skirt and bumper for $249. Designs include Miss Ladybug's Garden, Busy Builder, Country Cottage, Flower Shop and Baby Safari.
BabyGap home also offers 100% organic cotton mix and match fitted bed sheets for $19 in solids and patterns, solid color organic crib bed skirts for $49, and organic mix and match bumpers for $110.
A variety of baby blankets includes two-pack muslin swaddle wraps for $30, embroidered fleece blankets for $29, solid color micro Chamois blankets for $29, and a quilted soft satin blanket for $39.
