Walker to retire from Pier 1

Fort Worth, Texas – In a form 8-K filed with the Security and Exchange Commission, specialty retailer Pier 1 Imports said evp planning and allocations David Walker will retire from the company, effective August 15.
At press time, no response was made by Pier 1 to an HTT inquiry regarding any plans to replace Walker in the executive position.
