Rizzy Rugs opens in Vegas showroom, bows custom program

Calhoun, Ga. -- Rizzy Rugs and Home, the area rug, bedding, decorative pillow and throw supplier, will open the doors to its new, more than 5,500-square-foot showroom here on Monday, July 28 during the Las Vegas World Market.
The company, which also operates showrooms in High Point and in Atlanta, will host two special events in celebration of its new permanent space -- a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Monday, followed on Tuesday by an “Eighth-Floor Open House” co-hosted with several other rug vendors in neighboring showrooms in Building C from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The new space sets the stage for Rizzy’s debut of its custom-size rug program, which encompasses all of the company’s hand-knotted and hand tufted collections. This new program encourages dealers to special-order rugs.
Rizzy is committed to a 30-to-60 day production time for each custom order on tufted collections; for hand-knotted rugs, the company will have orders shipped on an order-by-order basis.
“Our custom size program is yet another vehicle that we are offering our customers to help them make their respective rug departments a profit center,’ said Mark Ferullo, vp, sales.
Also new and on display at the Vegas showroom will be Rizzy Home’s cross-merchandised offerings. The rug assortment will be coordinated with matching decorative pillows, throws and bedding ensembles. More than 500 pillows and bedding ensembles will be displayed. And there will be almost 550 rugs, both in dedicated rack displays and as complements to Rizzy Home goods.
