Stanton Carpet Elevates Jonathan Cohen

Syosset, N.Y. — Stanton Carpet Corp., a designer, manufacturer and wholesaler of high-end decorative wool and synthetic area rugs, has appointed Jonathan Cohen its new coo, reporting to founder and ceo Sy Cohen.
Jonathan Cohen was promoted from his most recent role as evp. He first joined Stanton in 1993.
In his new post, Cohen's responsibilities now include devising long-term strategic growth for Stanton with a focus on national account development, strategic acquisitions and global sourcing. In addition, he is charged with co-managing national accounts, participating in product development and overseeing consumer and trade marketing, display merchandising and advertising initiatives.
He will continue to work closely with Stanton's sales, financial and operational teams.
