SDH Offers Organzino Silk Collection

Fairfield, Calif. — Luxury bedding resource SDH is unveiling its Natural Luxury collection, featuring Organzino silk, at this summer's markets in Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York.
"The Organzino Silk used in this collection is of the most exclusive quality, once reserved for nobility only," said Catherine Stemmler, sales manager. "Spun from the middle section of a single cocoon, it is cleaned, processed and finished in Italy where it is dyed to bring out its exceptional brilliance." She said the Organzino fiber has "unusual strength and the length of filament."
Natural Luxury combines cashmere and Egyptian cotton with the silk.
Three bedding patterns, Rhapsody, Concerto, and Sonata will be introduced this month, each available in two colors, Parchment and Steel Blue. There will also be two top-of-bed patterns, Mino and Allegro.
The retail price for a queen duvet cover will be about $950. A set of queen sheets will retail for about $900. SDH said these prices are some 25% higher than its Egyptian cotton collections.
