Pillow Decor Buys Unit of Prasad's

Vancouver, B.C. — Decorative pillow retailer and wholesaler Pillow Decor Ltd. has acquired the decorative pillow division of Seattle-based Prasad's Imports. This accelerates the expansion of Pillow Decor's wholesale operations in Canada and the U.S.
Founded in 1976, Prasad's is a designer, manufacturer and wholesaler that has supplied hospitality and retail customers such as Vacation Resorts International, Worldmark by Wyndham, Spiegel, Costco and JCPenney.
Jonathan Forgacs, vp sales and marketing at Pillow Decor, said, "In addition to the wide range of fine silk products that has been a hallmark of Prasad's Imports, we will now be offering Prasad's customers a much wider range of products from which to choose."
Prasad's Imports founder and ceo Devi Prasad will advise Pillow Decor on key business relationships. "After 32 years in the business, it wasn't hard for me to recognize in Pillow Decor the same kind of creative spirit, dedication and commitment to customer service that made Prasad's Imports a success," said Prasad.
