Textillery Juices Line with Purple

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 6/9/2008

Bloomington, Ind. — Recognizing the color purple having "staying power beyond trendy," hand-woven throw manufacturer Textillery Weavers is now using a mix of berry tones to create what it described as "an alluring ambience" for living spaces.

"Functioning as a neutral, deep berry can replace brown," the company said. "Deep purple works well as an accent color. Purple and berry tones can provide an array of moods; from richness and mystery to sophistication and creativity."

Textillery's new berry and purple offerings will be on display July 17-23 at the Chicago Gift Show in the Diane Baker & Associates showroom at the Chicago Merchandise Mart, and again Aug. 16-21 during the New York International Gift Fair in the Accent on Design section.

"Our berry color scheme is reminiscent of wine-country, bringing home the romance of an Italian vineyard," said Judith Rose, head designer.

Textillery's product profile spans more than 600 styles and 75 solid-colored hand-woven collections in checks/houndstooth, multi-texture, pinstripe, plaids, solids and stripe designs.
