Welspun Flexes Product, Brand Power

Mumbai, India — While Welspun ramps up production at its newly constructed bath rug factory in India and new bedding plants in India and Mexico, the manufacturer's U.S. division has relocated to a larger New York showroom to highlight the breadth of the company's offerings.

Still located at the 295 Fifth Ave. showroom building, Welspun USA now occupies 11,000 square feet of space in Room 1118, formerly the Nautica showroom. The company has created an interior doorway into the adjacent 1120 showroom for upscale bath brand Christy, which is also owned by Welspun.

At the upcoming New York Home Furnishings Market Week (Sept. 15-19), Welspun will display not only its core towel and sheeting offerings, but also its newest products: basic bedding, fashion bedding, Welspun bath rugs; Sorema luxury bath rugs and accessories from Portugal; Welspun-produced Nautica products (towels, rugs, solid color sheets, beach towels); the Welspun-produced Waverly line of products including towels, bath accessories; and bath, accent and scatter rugs, down and synthetic filled comforters and blankets, pillows, and mattress pads; and Welspun brand bed and bath (Luxus, Smart and Viteré.)
