Springs unveils Sanitized line for Hotels

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 5/14/2008 2:13:00 PM

Las Vegas – At the HD Expo here this week, May 15-17, Springs Global US will unveil a hospitality bed and bath program employing Sanitized technology, which inhibits the growth of bacteria that causes odor and keeps items fresher longer.

Products treated with Sanitized remain fresh after multiple uses, making the re-use of these linens more enjoyable for hotel guests and reducing water use and laundry expenses for the hotel.

The technology also is washfast, assuring a long-lasting linen product. The treatment’s built-in deodorant function and odor inhibitor offer excellent stability to heat, offering durability during the laundering processes, the company said.

“We believe that Sanitized technology will be an effective tool for our institutional customers in driving and increasing participation in their linen re-use programs,” said Andy Rosthal, director of sales for the Springs institutional division.

Sanitized, which meets antimicrobial test services (International Approved Test) standards, is a global provider of antimicrobial protection. The dermatologically tested process can be applied to any item in Springs’ bedding and bath collection, according to the company.
