Tuesday Morning Promotes Bowman
Closeout retailer Tuesday Morning has named Stephanie Bowman evp and cfo. Bowman has been vp finance for Tuesday Morning for the past two years. Formerly she was vp finance for Summit Global Partners, and had worked with Dallas-area retailers and at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
She will report to Michael Marchetti, evp, coo. He has served as acting cfo of the 831-store chain since Jan. 15.
Iconix Group Elevates Three
Lifestyle brand firm Iconix Brand Group, which owns the former Pillowtex brands Cannon, Charisma, Fieldcrest and Royal Velvet, has promoted three execs.
Lanie Pilnock is now svp brand management. With Iconix for four years in the trend and fashion unit as well as brand management, she was originally recruited from Marshall Fields.
Yehuda Shmidman was elevated to svp business development. He joined Iconix in 2006, and formerly worked as a licensing agent with such direct-to-retail brands as Isaac Mizrahi at Target.
Gary Klein is now vp finance. Before joining Iconix more than two years ago, he was director, financial planning and analysis at TV Guide Publishing Group.
Company C Recruits Scotto
Company C, a designer and manufacturer of soft home furnishings — rugs, bedding, decorative pillows and throws — has appointed Kristine Scotto vp sales, reporting to Walter Chapin, president.
Scotto will develop the dealer business and manage the sales force to further penetrate the specialty home furnishings market nationally. She is also charged with developing merchandising and display and inventory stocking programs for dealers.
Scotto previously held positions in both retail and wholesale management, in posts with Domain-Home, Country Curtains Inc., L. & J.G. Stickley, and Williams-Sonoma.
