Immagine Italia promotes Global Home Textiles

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/28/2008 12:30:00 PM

White Plains, N.Y. – By way of a recently inked partnership between George Little Management here and international home linens exhibition Immagine Italia & Co., the 10 to 12 upscale Italian home fashion companies participating in the upcoming Global Home Textiles event will anchor the Luxe Living area for high-end product showcases.

This collaboration, set for the May 6-8 show at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, sets the groundwork for the two entities to work together to cross-promote the Italian and U.S. textile markets, focusing on visibility, press and cross-sponsorship of events.

“We are looking forward to having these well-known and respected Italian companies participate in Global Home Textiles,” said Penny Sikalis, vp global business development, GLM. “The exceptional quality of their offerings will set the standard for Luxe Living.”

The new exhibitors of Italian bedding and bath linens, table linens and soft window treatments collectively form the Luxe Living’s Italian Pavilion. To date, Italian companies Fabbri Ricami, GIL, Cottimaryanne, Bagni Volpe and T&T have confirmed their participation.

Immagine Italia & Co. is an international exhibition of home linens, home textiles and lingerie organized by Pistoia Promuove, Tuscany Region, Toscana Promozione and Toscana d’Amare. The first edition took place earlier this month in Florence at the Fortezza Da Basso, and it featured 200 Italian and international companies.
