Revman Refreshes Kors, Bahama

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/25/2008

New York — Major additions to the Michael Kors and Tommy Bahama collections are key for fall at Revman International.

Four new beds are in the Michael Kors group with embellishments such as metallic studs, leather with chains, pearlized leather, faux fur and suede.

Pierpont, a striking black and white design, is inspired by a dress from the Kors collection of apparel in a loose interpretation, while Mulholland creates a textural effect on a velvet.

Westminster, a pinstripe, is a new sheet style and there are three new colors in the comforter set program, at $379 for the queen set.

A wide range of decorative pillows for use on beds or alone are viewed by the designer as "handbags for the bed."

Tommy Bahama now is offering freestanding window coverings and decorative pillow collections, besides the regular bedding program. Cape Verde, a pineapple motif, is one of the new Tommy Bahama bedding designs, at $369 for the comforter set.

Manor Hill, a Revman private brand program, has launched flocks on linens, prints and woven patterns that can be customized by number of pieces per package.

Newbury, a crisp black and white patchwork effect, moves dramatically away from the cottage look in the firm's Laura Ashley program, at $199 for the comforter set.

An "All Seasons" package that packs a comforter and quilt in one bag for multi-seasonal use is highlighted in Columbia, the firm's outdoor lifestyle license. Both are reversible.

Bath has been expanded with new looks for each of the company's brands including shower curtains, accessories and towels.
