Students Flaunt Décor via Working Class Studio

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/14/2008

Atlanta — The student product development team at Working Class Studio, a division of the Savannah College of Art and Design, will show a range of new summer home furnishings and décor items at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and at the New York International Gift Fair.

The new dec pillow and tabletop designs are ideal for poolside dining and outdoor entertaining, yet equally suited for indoor use.

The Working Class Studio outdoor pillow collection features three contemporary designs by student artists in shades of green, brown, and black-and-white. Made of durable, outdoor-grade polyester sateen, they are durable but soft enough for indoor use. Wholesale price is $20.

Two new paper plate and napkin collections include a wildly vibrant explosion of color on one, while the other is a minimalist motif. Related product lines offer melamine bowls, acrylic tumblers and magnetic picture frames.

In Atlanta, Working Class are showing at AmericasMart on Jan. 11 – 15 at Booth M20 on 10th floor in High Design. In New York the products will be on display at the Javits Convention Center Feb. 2 – 7 at Booth 4141 in Accent on Design.

Working Class Studio products are carried in retail stores in the United States and internationally.
