Mandell to Direct Brands at Idea Nuova

New York — Home textiles industry veteran Neil Mandell has joined Idea Nuova here as director of brands, a new position.
Mandell, most recently vp/director of licensing and marketing at Dan River, reports to Beno Accado, vp/ceo of the company. He will be involved in the development of the in-house bedding collections, as well as the brands and licenses to complement the company's room décor products.
Mandell earlier worked with Franco Mfg., Offray Ribbon, J. Josephson, Burlington, Springs, Fieldcrest and Milliken.
Idea Nuova is a licensee of Disney, Warner Bros., Marvel, Nickelodeon, American Greetings, LucasFilm Licensing, Fox and Dreamworks.
In addition to home textiles, the Idea Nuova product line ranges from storage containers and lockers to furniture, memory foam products, chairs, plush sofas and lighting.
