L'erba Adds New Fine Linens to 2008 Roster

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/7/2008

East Hampton, N.Y. — High-end linen house L'erba is getting ready to unveil is newest collections as well as color and design additions at several upcoming markets in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas.

Serenity — the headlining new program — employs casual luxury to create a softer modernism for both elegance and comfort that will transcend the bedroom into "a restful place that nurtures and calms the senses," the company said. "The bed is rich in layers of tactile pleasure and soothing colors to closely link one with nature." Hand-crafted details include fine stitching and embroidery.

L'erba is the brainchild of designer industry vets and married couple Suzanne Morse-Smith and her husband Shannon, who founded the company here in 2003. Suzanne, L'erba's design director, has worked in the home textile industry for the past decade, collaborating with major designers like Donna Karan and most recently Michael Kors and the Tommy Bahama brand. In October 2002 she was honored with the Innovation in Design award by the Home Fashion Products Association.
