Momeni Creates New 'Wools' Rugs

New York — Upscale rug company Momeni is prepping several new offerings carrying the Wools of New Zealand brand, for debut in January at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market and the Las Vegas Market.

New to the Capri collection is a pattern of soft florals available in two muted color palettes, black and sage. These power-loomed rugs feature hand-carved details with hand-surged edges. Sizes span a 2.6-foot-by-8-foot runner and 3.6-by-5.6 through 8-by-11.

Following suit with the existing patterns in Momeni's Elements collection, two new additions utilize a brilliant palette to emphasize the contemporary design direction. One of the new pieces is a collage of colors and patterns, and the other features black and gray fields, each intercepted by curvilinear designs filled with pinpoints of color.

These new Elements rugs have a hand-made finish consisting of hand-surged edges and hand-carved details. Sizes include 2-by-3 and 3-by-5 accents, a 2.6-by-8 runner, 8-foot round and 5-by-8 to 9.6-by-13.6 area rugs.

Suggested retail prices for a 5-by-8 in both the Capri and Elements collections is $439.
