Apex, N.C. —
Edward Walker, designer on TLC's “Trading Spaces” TV show, will create a line of bedding for teens and tweens to be produced by Cuddlebugs-n-Cocoons, based here.
Products will include: colorful, bordered duvets; tailored, banded bed skirts; coordinating shams and accent pillows; and complementary graphic rugs.
Cuddlebugs-n-Cocoons has made baby blankets and juvenile bedding for specialty stores since 2005. Company president and founder Sandra VanSickle said of Walker's point of view: “Edward's designs fill the gap by using the ultimate teen commodity 'cool,' sending it down the road to adulthood.”
The line will debut at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Jan. 11-15, 2008 in the Fine Linens section, Building 1, 7th floor, Booth J19. Walker will greet visitors at the booth on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. He also will host a design seminar on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in The Gardens, Building 1, Floor 15.
