Fletcher, N.C. — Valiant Fabrics, a supplier of upholstery and decorative fabrics, has relocated operations from New York to this town in the mountains of North Carolina near Asheville.
President Jason Danielian said the move puts the company's national distribution in a more central location and increases its warehouse space from about 25,000 square feet to more than 35,000 square feet.
Meanwhile, Valiant has hired Tina Crain as its first full-time designer. Crain, who is new to the textile industry, has a background in graphic design and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Previously, Valiant used freelance designers exclusively.
Valiant will show at the upcoming Winter Showtime in the Suites at Market Square, space 1-1618.
