Hudson, Ohio – Fabric and craft retailer Jo-Ann Stores has acquired full ownership of the website Joann.com from IdeaForest.com, Inc. and with it acquires the 62% of IdeaForest that it did not previously own.
The new entity, Joann.com, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jo-Ann Stores, Inc., which recently relaunched the website with better navigation and visuals; a Featured Deals section; and the Community section comprising consumer at-home project plans, an interactive online gallery, news and tips, and the Just Ask Jo-Ann message board.
The company said Joann.com attracts an average of 2 million unique visitors per month. The site offers 65,000 products including fabric, sewing and quilting items, scrapbooking supplies, crafts, knitting and crochet materials, and home décor goods.
