Thomasville President Resigns

St. Louis — Nancy Webster, president of the Thomasville Furniture Inds. division of Furniture Brands Intl. has resigned from the company effective immediately.
Webster, a longtime home textiles executive, joined Thomasville two years ago. Prior to that she headed the home furnishings product design and development group at Target.
She had a long span in the home textiles manufacturing market, most recently serving as vp of Springs before joining Target.
Edward Teplitz, who headed the retail division of Ethan Allen, has been named to succeed her at Thomasville.
