Muzekari Joins Westlake

High Point, N.C. — Longtime decorative fabric executive Tom Muzekari has joined Westlake USA as a senior sales and marketing executive.
Muzekari had been vp, sales and marketing for the former Quaker Fabric. In his new position, Muzekari will focus on sales to manufacturers in the Northeast and Midwest. In addition, "He will help us put together a program for decorative jobbers, as well as develop some export opportunities," said Tom Himes, co-principal of Westlake.
He also will advise the company on merchandising to specific customers, Himes added.
"In addition to being a personal friend for many years, we need someone of his skills to help us grow to another level," Himes said.
Muzekari, who will continue to be based in Providence, R.I., will report to Himes and Jack Glabman, co-principal.
