Perfect Fit Promotes Two

Charlotte, N.C. — Basic bedding producer Perfect Fit Industries has promoted two executives to oversee the sales and marketing functions in the wake of the departure of svp sales and marketing Herb Briggs, who has resigned effective Sept. 17 to take a position at Dan River.
"We thank Herb for his commitment during his tenure here, and we are grateful for his contribution to Perfect Fit. We wish him well in the future," said Lou Morris, Perfect Fit ceo.
Jeff Chilton was promoted to svp sales and Allen Robinson was promoted to svp of marketing and product development; the company said they will "jointly manage" sales and marketing. They will both report directly to David Kennedy, president and coo.
Speaking of Robinson and Chilton, Kennedy said, "They have been key contributors to our success over the last four years and we fully expect that they will continue our progress."
