Couristan Promotes Codella

Fort Lee, N.J. — Rug supplier Couristan has promoted Steve Codella to senior vp, sales for its Eastern U.S. region — part of its residential sales division — handling broadloom and area rugs.
A veteran of the floorcovering industry for more than 24 years, Codella joined Couristan in 2000 as Eastern regional sales manager and was moved up to vp of sales for the area after four years with the company. He is credited with helping Couristan build a strong sales force and cultivate accounts on a national level.
A new Western regional manager will be named soon in the residential sales division, said Couristan chairman George Couri.
