Donghia Awards for Design Students

New York — Eleven design students entering their senior year in an interior design baccalaureate degree program have won a $30,000 scholarship under the Senior Scholarship Program sponsored by the Angelo Donghia Foundation.
Sixty-five student projects from accredited institutions around the country were entered. The entries were judged on a merit basis by a panel of leading interior designers and home furnishings press members.
The winners were:
- Molly Baker, School of the Art Institute of Chicago;
- Cheryl Presley Baker, New York School of Interior Design;
- Kirakarn Churakoses, Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, Calif.;
- Sophie Girard, New York School of Interior Design;
- Stefanie Krzyzamiak, Fashion Institute of Technology, New York;
- Angela Lauer, University of Texas, Austin, Texas;
- Kali Lewis, California College of the Arts, San Francisco;
- Cindy Louie, Arizona State University, Tempe, Ariz.;
- Yohei Terui, Parsons School for Interior Design, New York;
- Priscilla Velez, University of Texas, San Antonio, Texas; and
- Dana Verbosh, Ringling School of Art and Design, Sarasota, Fla.
