Shanghai Event to Key on Design Trends

Shanghai — A full range of information and educational programs will be offered at the 2007 edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles, running Aug. 29 - 31 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Informational elements will include a Home Textile Design and Trend Seminar series led by five world-renowned designers.
Designer panelists include:
- Ornella Bignami, of Elementi Moda, Milan, presenting "Moods 2008 – Multiplicity;"
- Kai Chow of Here and There, New York, with a 2008/09 color and textile forecast;
- Sachiko Inoue of Tokyo, presenting "Vision of Life Style: Nature = Human / 2008;"
- Nelly Rodi of the Nelly Rodi Agency, Paris, presenting "2008 Lifestyle trends: New consumer attitudes and focus on Home Textiles;"
- Fulvio Alvisi, of Alvisi e Alvisi, Italy, emphasizing Italian lifestyle and fabrics for 2008/09.
