West Elm Debuts Organic Lines

Brooklyn, N.Y. — West Elm has launched a line of organic home textiles in bath and bedding.
"All our soft, earth-friendly cotton is certified organic. It is grown without herbicides, pesticides, and all dyes are earth-friendly," according to the company.
Its basic 600-gram, organic cotton, solid color bath towel using "earth-friendly" dyes carries a retail of $19.00, available in 10 colors. West Elm also offers a trade-up reversible towel at $22 in porcelain/pale loden, fawn/charcoal, and copperplate/espresso.
Organic cotton solid color bath mat in six colors retails for $19.
Bedding includes a 230-count organic cotton percale sheet set in natural for $89 queen that coordinates with a similarly toned pleated, organic cotton duvet cover at $119 for full/queen. Matches shams and Euros are also available.
Alternatively, West Elm has introduced 250-count organic cotton sateen sheet sets in three colors for $99 queen as well as a diamond jac duvet cover, also in 250 sateen and three colors for $99 full/queen.
Rounding out the collection is an organic cotton knit throw and knit pillow cover, both in natural, at $49 and $29, respectively.
