Greensboro, N.C. — John Seymour has joined JLA Home Fabrics as national sales manager.
He reports to George Kerr, president, and fills a position that has been open for some time following the resignation of Lew Magrish. Seymour was with Quaker Fabric for 12 years as Southeast sales manager and manager of national accounts. Earlier he had been with Covington, and prior to that with Joan Fabrics.
JLA Home Fabrics will move to new headquarters and warehouse facilities in Reidsville, N.C. on Aug. 10. The new facility will be 10,000 square feet of office and showroom and 110,000 square feet of warehouse.
The company will retain its showroom in Market Square Tower in High Point, N.C., Kerr said, but will give up its warehouse in Gastonia, N.C. and its office here.
