Pillowtex Licenses Charisma to Soft-Tex

New York — In its 230 Fifth Avenue showroom, Soft-Tex will be showing a range of Charisma-branded products, licensed by Official Pillowtex, during February Market Week here, with availability for fall shipments.

Soft-Tex will be offering Visco memory foam product in mattress toppers and pillows under the Charisma label, with "an eye toward understated elegance, attention to detail and quality of workmanship," the company said. Cover fabrics will feature a cashmere face on the pillow elements, with trims and topper coverings inspired by Charisma's current bedding offerings.

Charisma products are currently sold at Bloomingdales, Macy's, Fortunoff, The Company Store, Linen Source, Neiman's Direct and select luxury linen boutiques.

"This new agreement complements the existing licenses we have for the Charisma brand and furthers our commitment of bringing high quality products to the consumer," said Official Pillowtex managing director Rick Platt.

Soft-Tex already has a Pillowtex license to produce Royal Velvet pillows, mattress pads, and memory foam.

Now in its 21st year in business, Soft-Tex specializes in manufacturing bed pillows, mattress pads, memory foams and featherbeds. It also has licenses for Therapedic and Innergy.
