Thro Ltd. Taps James Ibanez

New York — James Ibanez has joined Thro Ltd. as executive vp of Thro Inc. and the Marlo Lorenz signature collection, its wholly owned subsidiaries.
Ibanez will supervise the company's activities in the soft-window market, strengthen active sales and marketing campaigns in the decorative pillow and throw blanket industries, and oversee the streamlining and efficiency of production management.
A 30-year industry veteran, Ibanez started at Burlington Industries' House Division and has held executive posts at Corona Curtain Company and CHF Industries, among others.
Thro Inc. principal designer and president Marlo Lorenz said, "With Jim locked in, Thro is firmly positioned to gain market share in decorative pillows and tap into a lucrative two billion dollar soft window industry."
"Our plan of action," noted Ibanez, "is to translate Marlo's fashionable designs to soft windows and blur the line of 'custom' offerings by shedding light on the disparity between the 'hundreds' vs. 'thousands' price point to the consumer's vantage point."
