Hollander Promotes Schantz

Boca Raton, Fla. — Andrew Schantz was named senior vp, basic bedding, in the Laura Ashley division of Hollander Home Fashions, effective in late December.
Schantz had been vp, heading the division for the past 18 months. He's had a guiding hand in transforming the business from basic white into bold colors and tone-on-tone palettes, more archival and updated prints, as well as new fabrics and constructions.
Before the Laura Ashley assignment, he oversaw the company's basic bedding, specializing in down comforters, down alternatives and mattress pads. The brand's retail acceptance has allowed the company to expand to include more lifestyle-driven styles and colors, Schantz said.
He will continue to report to David Sides, president of Hollander.
