By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/8/2007

New York — With the February market week just weeks away, suppliers have been relocating and revamping their showrooms.

Ellison, a fashion bedding products and accessories company, is in the process of constructing a new showroom on the seventh floor, relocating from its current home at 1185 Avenue of the Americas. President Kevin Finlay said, "The 9,000-square-foot showroom will be ready in January 2007, and will highlight bedding products from all price points."

Decor by Beader's Touch, manufacturers of home fashion decorative pillows, top of the bed, shams, duvet, and table linens, is taking a new 2,700-square-foot showroom on the 16th floor.

Small Sheep Industry, Inc. has taken 3,850-square-foot showroom. The company manufactures print bedding, flannel, chenille and sheets.

Epoch Hometex, Inc. has taken space on the 15th floor. The company specializes in fashion bedding and bed canopies in mid-range price levels. Its latest launch is in the green area, with soy, wool and alternative fabric content that is environmentally friendly.

J&M Home Fashions, now on the fourth floor, is a Montreal-based importer of fleece products including rugs, towels, kitchen towels and bath towels from India, China and Pakistan.

Rainbow Linens has moved into space No. 910. Rainbow manufactures bed sheets in the mid to high-end price range. Bruce Tucker, president, added, "We make sheets in 200 up to 1000 thread counts and manufacture in the U.S.A. and abroad."

Tenants expanding their spaces include Sof-Tex, manufacturer of sleeping pillows, bed toppers and an extensive line of memory foam products. The project will expand its showroom to 2,640 square feet.

Melange Home, producer of fine bedding and home textiles, has also enlarged its space on the 12th floor.
